Charlie was introduced by Revlon in 1973 and embodied everything an independent woman of the 1970’s should be. “Charlie” was played by American supermodel, actress, and producer Shelly Hack. She was best know for her roll as Tiffany Welles in Charlie’s Angels. This commercial had a bit of historical significance, it was one of the first perfume ads to feature a woman wearing pants.
